Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how P8 AntiDetect ("P8", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the P8 software and associated online services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Privacy is the core of our product, and it shapes how we operate as a company: we collect as little as possible, we never look inside your browser profiles, and we accept payment in a way that avoids tying your identity to your activity.
The single most important thing to know: your browsing activity, profiles, fingerprints, cookies, and automation data never leave your device and are never accessible to us.
Information We Collect
We limit collection to what is strictly necessary to operate accounts and process payments:
- Account data. Your email address, username, and a securely hashed password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
- Transaction records. For each payment: the amount, timestamp, the service purchased, and the cryptocurrency transaction ID, retained for accounting and anti-fraud purposes.
- License and entitlement state. Your current plan, balance, active subscription, and proxy allocations, so the software can verify what your account is entitled to.
- Support communications. If you contact us by email or Telegram, we keep the messages you send us in order to respond and maintain a support history.
- Limited technical data. When your client or browser contacts our servers (for license checks, top-ups, updates, or proxy connections), our servers process the connection's IP address and basic request metadata transiently, as any web server does. We do not build advertising or tracking profiles from this.
- Anonymous diagnostics. We may collect aggregated, anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (e.g. which features are used, or a stack trace when the app crashes) to improve stability. These cannot be linked back to an individual user.
What We Do Not Collect
Just as important as what we collect is what we deliberately do not:
- No browsing activity. We do not collect, store, monitor, or have access to the websites you visit, your search history, or anything you do inside a browser profile.
- No profile data. Browser profiles — their fingerprints, cookies, local storage, sessions, and saved logins — are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded to us. Encrypted profile export/import happens under your control.
- No virtual camera content. We do not receive or store the images or video you use with the virtual camera feature.
- No payment card data. We accept cryptocurrency only, so we never see or store card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information we hold only to:
- Create and secure your account and authenticate your sign-in.
- Verify your license and deliver the plan, balance, and proxies you have purchased.
- Process cryptocurrency payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including through anonymous diagnostics.
- Comply with legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Legal Basis (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or comparable laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases for processing:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for (account, license, payments).
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product, balanced against your privacy.
- Legal obligation — to retain records we are required to keep, such as for accounting.
- Consent — where we specifically ask for it; you may withdraw consent at any time.
Payments and Cryptocurrency
Payments are made exclusively in cryptocurrency. We store the transaction amount, timestamp, and the transaction ID (hash) needed to confirm and reconcile your payment. We do not store wallet addresses beyond what is necessary to confirm a given transaction.
Please note that public blockchains are, by their nature, public and permanent ledgers. Any information inherent to a blockchain transaction is outside our control. We recommend using privacy-respecting wallets if this matters to you. Please also review our Refund Policy: cryptocurrency payments are final and non-refundable.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website and account system use only the cookies and local storage strictly necessary to function — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on our website.
Within the desktop application, cookies and local storage belonging to your browser profiles are exactly what P8 is built to manage. They stay on your device under your control and are never sent to us.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of third-party providers strictly to operate the Service, including:
- Cloud and authentication infrastructure that hosts our account system and stores account data.
- Proxy infrastructure partners that supply the proxy networks sold through the marketplace.
- Content delivery and DNS providers that help serve our website and updates securely.
These providers process data only as needed to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We are not responsible for the independent practices of third-party services, and their handling of any data is governed by their own policies.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Account data is kept for as long as your account is active.
- Transaction records may be retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, even after account deletion.
- When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain.
Data Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), password hashing, access controls, and data minimization — the less we hold, the less there is to protect.
No system is perfectly secure. While we work hard to safeguard your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
International Transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law, including using providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Port your data to another provider in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because we collect so little, most requests are simple to fulfil. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
